How it all began

This and many other small acts of kindness showed me she was a special lady.”

Like many people in this modern world, we met online. After chatting for a week she invited me to join her for a drink (she got sick of waiting for me to ask!) We met at a restaurant, and talked for hours. She was kind and warm, and had a beautiful smile. We talked about a lot of things and found we had a lot in common, we both liked Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and anime. We both enjoy playing video games. We shared similar family values and world views. I was so nervous! She was gorgeous, and very kind and patient.
— RhysOur second date almost didn’t happen. A communication mishap almost led us to not see the movie we had agreed to see! But despite this, the movie date happened as promised. Rhys then invited himself to a fortnightly quiz I go to, and also, without it being discussed, committed himself to spending time with me every day. Him showing that I was a priority for him, made him quickly become a priority for me too!
